Welcome to Shamrock Studio!

Hi!  I'm Marlene and I'm an art teacher.  Yes, that is my 43rd school photo right there.  My 1st school photo is on the Home page.  I love nurturing creativity so I decided to open a virtual art studio with an end goal of creating one out of sticks and stones.  At Shamrock Studio I guide creative experiences, sell some of my treasures, share my point of view, pin great ideas and create art and videos.  I am blessed to live on Beaver Island, the most remote, inhabited island in Lake Michigan.  It is beautiful here!  I love watching wind and water playing outside together, like we used to do when we were kids.  Even as a child i preferred watching nature to watching tv.  I thought there might be others like me so I began shooting videos of the harbor to share.  I'm having fun, making mistakes and learning from them.  My first videos are rough.  I'm improving the quality of my videos so you can see what it's really like to be here year 'round.  If you like the view from here, check out my wordless videos of Beaver Island @ view49782.
